NARHA |

Since 1969, the North American Riding for the Handicapped
Association, Inc. (NARHA -
www.narha.org) has helped therapeutic riding programs flourish
throughout the country. NARHA administers a certification
program for riding instructors and provides guidelines for
selecting riders for whom for therapeutic riding activities are
suitiable and appropriate.
Shepard Meadows is currently a NARHA member with one certified riding
instructor. There are other instructors currently
participating in the certification program. In addition, our
staff maintain NARHA individual memberships.
Shepard Meadows adheres to NARHA standards and
guidelines.
