In an effort to attract a variety of individuals from the community, each year we have several fundraisers – some big and some small. From our Annual Gala, Pie Sales, Holiday Open House, The Travelers Championship – “Birdies for Charity,” to “Movie Night in the Meadow,” there is something for everyone!

This is an annual donation of $2,500.00 to help offset feed, bedding, health and wellness visits, medications, farrier, etc. Sponsorships can be made by one individual or family, by several individuals who pool the funds, or an organization or business. Sponsorships are flagged on our “Herd” page and sponsors are given credit and named on our website. Please contact the Executive Director for further information on what the program entails and what horses are available for adoption.
From time to time, we are in need of new horses to join our herd. We prefer horses from 10-18 years of age, with a height up to 16 hands. The horse must be sound at the walk, trot and canter, in good physical condition with a quiet and calm temperament, and without vices (biting, cribbing, etc.). If you have a horse that you would like to donate, please complete the “Prospective Horse Form” and email it to us!
For those individuals whose employers match personal giving, we will complete documentation to support either financial contributions, or volunteer hours. Please contact the Executive Director, or Volunteer Coordinator for assistance.
If you are interested in honoring a loved one, or becoming part of our endowment fund, please contact the Executive Director. There are many opportunities available to direct funding, including restricted funding.

Throughout the year Shepard Meadows holds special events at the farm. We seek sponsorship for these events, such as the Annual Gala, Annual Horse Show, or Movie in the Meadows. There are a range of price points to meet your wishes. Please contact the Executive Director for additional information.
When cleaning out your garage, barn, tack room, or basement please consider donating your gently used items to Shepard Meadows. We are always in need of certain items so we can directly focus our efforts on offering our programs and servicess. The list of items below are only a few of the items we need but please feel free contact us if you have something that may be helpful that isn’t on the list. New items are great too!
