Hippotherapy is a form of physical, occupational and speech therapy in which a therapist uses the characteristic movements of a horse to provide carefully graded motor and sensory input. Hippotherapy at Shepard Meadows can be unmounted or mounted work. We currently work with a licensed physical therapist and a licensed speech and language pathologist. The fee ranges from $50.00 to $75.00 per half-hour private session.
