Join us to learn about the other therapy animals at Shepard Meadows-goats! This presentation is perfect for goat lovers, and will cover the basics of goat care. Whether you’re a lifelong goat lover, or a beginner to goat care, there’s something to learn for everyone. Elyse will cover topics including:
Anatomy differences between horses and goats
Nutrition
Common health issues
Social behaviors
Elyse Manyak is an agriculture science and technology teacher at Lakeview High School in Litchfield. She lives on a small farm in Harwinton with her own herd of goats.
